Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Camping

Last night, my boys are reduced their carbon footprint by camping with their Dad and Papa Dude in the front yard! No nightlights. No music. No sound machines. No A/C. It's their first time ever to "camp." We'll see how it goes. I'm hopeful, but I have a feeling city boys won't make it through the night. What do you think? What are the odds they made it through? Do I have any readers willing to make a wager out there? ha ha ha  -xo

  1. I used to camp a lot... it's lovely. Next year we'll do it, with our baby girl, definately.

    Did your boys make it?

  2. They did it! I can't believe it! The whole night through. It wasn't the best night's sleep for the grown-ups, but the boys did great. xo

  3. How much fun would that have been!! When I was at uni, my three friends and I pitched a tent in my backyard and it was such a fun experience. Hope your boys enjoyed it. P.S Am hoping to email you over the weekend :)

  4. Isa - yes...it's a must for kiddos. We gotta get them in the fresh air more you know?

Amanda - as soon as the nights get cooler in Texas, we'll have to do it in our backyard as a family. But I love the idea of a girl's night in a tent with lots of giggles and some wine! xo
