Yesterday I heard the most amazing sermon at church. Today I share it with you - HERE. I promise, if you take the time to listen to it, it will bless you immensely. My number one take-away...
That's huge right? How often do we run around like little chickens with our heads cut off trying to get that perfect gift? Or trying to host that perfect party? Or trying to have that perfect holiday vacation? Clark Griswold didn't succeed and neither will we. It's not about us. When will we learn that? Christmas is about the perfect gift of God, given to the world in the form of a baby... a King in a manger. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. Not from us or anything we try to create.
This week, as the hurried Christmas season draws to a close, it is my prayer that each of you would have the peace that comes from Him alone. That you would rest in Him and slow down enough to enjoy His presents and most of all, His presence.
Merry Christmas and Happy Monday! xo
