windsocks to adorn the porch via random thoughts of a supermom.
stilts covered in stars via spoonful.
luminaries to light the night sky via crafts for all seasons.
containers for silverware, flowers, napkins, breadsticks and maybe a sparkler or 50.
For more fun, stack up some tin cans and grab a ball for a few rounds of backyard bowling. How will you celebrate the 4th? xo
I found your blog through a friend of mine, Rebecca Shartner (don't know if you know her). Anyways, I would love to hear from someone if they read my blog and liked it or felt inspired. So I thought I'd let you know that your blog reached someone you've never met. I'm also a Christ follower so we have that in common. I also recently got married, had a baby, took a big step back from work and often have found myself watching other people have fun instead of getting in there and seizing the moment myself. My brother in law's girlfriend is a get in there and get dirty kind of gal and watching them together has made me realize that I want to get in there and have fun too. None of us have to be wall flowers! We just have to make a decision to get off the chair and get out and do the things that we say "oh that looks so fun" or "oh I'd love to do that". Leave the laundry in the basket, the dishes in the sink, the emails unanswered, the floors unwashed and get out for that bike ride, or get and garden, have fun with your spouse and kids and friends! Anyways, I love that your blog is helping you to refocus on getting in on doing the things you love. Inspiring. Made me think more about why I'm blogging too.
