Why I Blog

Six years ago I left the 9-5 design and product development world to work with and support my husband in his photography business - Fish Fotography. Just two weeks later we found out we were pregnant with our first child. A lot changed in a very short time. My life went from 99% self to 10-15% self. Don't get me wrong, today I am still very self absorbed. But, working for my husband, having a child and following Christ has taught me a lot about my priorities and where they should be in order to find a true balance that works for me and my family. Upon having our second child, I realized that I was no longer doing the creative things I  wanted to do and had been gifted by God to do. I was simply watching others do them through the blogs that I was reading daily.

Pure and Noble gives me the opportunity to do all the things I love doing. I get to write, focus on design - interior and fashion, share crafts, share life, make friends and loads of other fun things.  I may not be good at all of them, but I enjoy them immensely.  They are all a part of who God created me to be. My goal is to honor my Creator now, rather than tucking my desires away in hopes of unpacking once my children have left the nest. Pure and Noble is my creative outlet. It's my time to focus on the things that make my heart sing. This benefits me, my family and hopefully the readers who drop by occasionally. xo

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
