If I'm gonna do this blog grounded in Pure and Noble thoughts and desires, I had better be honest at all cost. I have been writing this blog for about five months now and for the most part I am loving every minute of it. But there is a part of me that compares myself to all the other bloggers out there and wonders, "why am I trying to create a voice for myself in this extremely saturated market of incredibly talented people?" So, today I am trying to "take capture every thought" and look up rather than side to side. I am trying to remember that there is only one voice like mine and one Lord to please.
It is my hope and prayer that you see yourself as a unique creation and extremely special for the gifts and talents that you have been given... you are beautiful. xo
I hear you. I'm a newbie as well and feel like there are so many blogs out there that are so inspiring. For the record, I feel like I stumbled on a little breathe of fresh air when I found yours. :)

ReplyDeletejust wanted to pass along some encouragement. :) i came over here through bloesem and was just browsing your archives...and i love your voice. i have 2 boys as well--and they are ca-razy. i love that you love the Lord. keep doing what you are doing...it takes awhile to have a consistent voice anyway. :) that's what i tell myself...i wonder if its true??
