I armed myself with clippers (for the garden), a ladder (to get down decorations) and a few bucks for pumpkins and other harvest squash. This is the end result...
I absolutely adore the mini-white pumpkins. So cute. And I must say, I'm kinda lovin' my old Fossil tin too - it works perfect for Halloween. The greenery was picked up in my front yard, after the hubs went a little crazy with the afore mentioned clippers. On to the dining room...
This one needs some work - more levels and varied sizing, but I'm gettin' there. Last year I used a ton of candy to decorate. Not this year! We're trying to wean our sugar monsters off of their favorite thing in the world - TREATS! I know... I picked the wrong time of year, but is there ever really a good time to have the battle of your life?
Anyway, I also hung fall bunting/garland (which is it anyway?) on my front porch and a spooky sign from the Dollar Tree. And the boys got in on the act too with Halloween window clings also from the Dollar Tree. Every time my youngest walks past them he screams and jokes, "I scared. I scared!" - kind of hilarious. Really. Do you have any Fall traditions? How do you make each season special for your family? Here's to the intoxicating aroma of Fall! xo
so fun! I love your collection of little pumpkins. just got mine yesterday!
