Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Wooden Shims

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Just about every home remodel DIYer has a stack of unused shims in their garage. These little wooden beauties make everything level when the floor or door opening is anything but. And wouldn't you know it, just when I had a "brilliant" idea as to how I could use them in my laundry room, someone else has beaten me to the punch. Turns out, lots of people are using the affordable shim in creative ways...
this chevron wall art is similar to what I was going to do in my laundry room

Seriously. People are clever aren't they? xo
