A Little For Them. A Little For Me.

My sweet husband has been out of town on a shoot and you know the old saying, "when the cat is away the mice will play." That is exactly what we've been doing. I generally don't like staying alone, check that. I don't like it when my husband is gone. He's my best friend and I miss him. Plus it's hard to get as much done as I would like while he's away. So this time, we just had fun.

Me: caring for my mint and thyme (my first attempt at gardening)

we made a trip to garland road thrift

Them: new fun toys

Me: amazing fabric for three bucks and a bit of nostalgia via the toys

Them: dum dum suckers

Me: unloaded a ton of shoes for charity at Pure Dental

Them: gum (my youngest is almost 2 and just learned how to chew without swallowing it)

Me: quiet car rides without the paci or thumb sucking

Them: movie night

Me: bible study and a glass of wine with my girls

All in all I would say it has been a pretty fun and successful couple of days. Tonight, my prince charming returns! Ahhh...a good night's sleep. xo
