we made this tent for the back yard out of an old sheet
the boys loved itThem: tent (hours of fun)
Me: pink flowers on tent
Them: dinner in the tent
Me: the view while laying in the tent (bright blue skies)
my flowers and herbs
Them: playing in the water
Me: caring for my mint and thyme (my first attempt at gardening)
we made a trip to garland road thrift
Them: new fun toys
Me: amazing fabric for three bucks and a bit of nostalgia via the toys
see that floral floor pillow?
this floral fabric will soon be covering one of our floor pillows
Them: dum dum suckers
Me: unloaded a ton of shoes for charity at Pure Dental
Them: gum (my youngest is almost 2 and just learned how to chew without swallowing it)
Me: quiet car rides without the paci or thumb sucking
Them: movie night
Me: bible study and a glass of wine with my girls
All in all I would say it has been a pretty fun and successful couple of days. Tonight, my prince charming returns! Ahhh...a good night's sleep. xo
Sounds like lots of fun. Your boys are cute and your tent is too. My husband and I are really good friends too and when I went to Israel without him, we missed each other so much. It's good to keep busy when your spouse is away though, then you don't think about missing them so much. Movie night and a glass of wine sounds really nice.
ReplyDeleteI can't sleep without my hubby lying next to me, so I totally get where you are coming from. Sounds like you had a great time with your boys though. Those moments are so precious, great that you could document it for prosperity and really nice to read about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to start a very busy but lovely weekend here (its is Friday afternoon). I hope yours is lovely
