Checkers Anyone?

Thursday, January 6, 2011

I was recently asked to do a small craft for Small magazine's winter issue. I humbly agreed. The result is a somewhat eco-friendly travel checkers game for the kiddos! Here's a peek. For the full DIY, visit Small's winter issue here.

Start collecting those water bottle caps now! The little teeth hold onto the felt, making this a perfect game for little ones. Plus, you can fold it up and toss it into your bag as you head out to dinner. I promise, this game will provide just the right amount of distraction to allow for some interruption-free adult conversation. Yippee!

How do you keep your littles entertained at restaurants or other outings? xo
