It's Coming... And We Need Your Help

My new line is launching soon and we are trying to get some cuties lined up for a photo shoot! If you live in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area and have littles between the ages of 3 months and 3 years... this is the shoot for you. The shoot will take place at our studio in Lake Highlands from 10am - 2pm.

Donut Dining

Lovely isn't it? It's a little donut shop in Houston. I'm trying to convince the hubs that he needs to go back and shoot a portrait there. If I were styling the shoot...

Breathless

Amazing images right? It gets better...they were taken by my amazingly talented husband. I love his eye for color and composition. It's always fascinated me. He took these images while on a shoot in Egypt last month and I am one smitten kitten. Our living and dining room walls are a soothing dark grey and I would love to have one of the last two images blown up BIG, printed on canvas, hanging above our dining table. Sigghhh.  Babe, if you're reading this...Christmas is just around the corner, right along with my birthday. wink. wink.

So you might be wondering, "Is she just showing us these images to brag on her husband?" Well, yes and no. Here's where it gets good for you guys. These prints will be available at Pure and Noble when we open up shop again in mid-September. I'm so excited. xo

The hubs snapped a ton of pics while our little entertained his new best friend Herbert the caterpillar. We were told, "I love him. He's cute!" Well, I'm sorry to report...he loved him to death. R.I.P. Herbert!

His & Hers

A couple of weeks ago my friend Alli of Hooray posted the above His & Hers image. I was so inspired by it, I asked if she would want to partner with me on a His & Hers series similar to A Year of Mornings book.  She agreed and thus a new Monday post series was born! My Current Obsession

Maybe it's because my husband's keen eye is rubbing off on me, but lately I'm drawn to rooms with great photography of items that aren't necessarily the norm to having hanging on ones walls. Pics of furniture, people you don't know, cars and other novelties... they're all singing to me like the song of a siren, begging me to re-dress the walls of my home.

You see what I mean?  Therefore dear sweet husband of mine, I will need the following images framed and hung. ASAP! Why? Because they're either genius, beautiful or just make me laugh.

Family Love

As I think about Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday) I can't help but think about family. I love my family! They are so precious and make me laugh every day. And I'm not gonna lie, they can make me cry too. But whether it's laughter or tears, I am thankful for them.

This image from NieNie Dailogues makes me laugh so hard. I can't wait to do a family photo with the mustaches I bought for 50 cents last year! Whew, this family inspires me so much and makes me grateful for every minute I have on this earth!

Being a photographer's wife has it's major advantages. Magic can be made in the most ordinary of circumstances and places.
